Salary: $70k+
Location: Toronto
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years real estate experience
- ble to work independently and produce high volumes of quality work under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and practice management abilities
- Working knowledge of Teraview, Ecore, PCLaw, Microsoft office
Experience/knowledge in the following areas would be an asset:
- Land titles applications
- Commercial Loan transactions
- Purchase of development lands
- Mortgage lending: drafting mortgage and related security documents, Teraview and PPSA documents
- Ability to draft preliminary copy of requisition letters and clearance letters for the solicitor’s review
- Ability to diarize and track crucial dates pertaining to a specific transaction (requisition dates, conditional period expiration dates and closing dates)
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including agreements, leases, closing documents, instruments for registration, etc.)
- Completing aspects of commercial purchases, sales and financings
- Organization/coordination of files/closing
- Prepare, edit, format, print, scan and revise correspondence, memoranda, reports, forms, labels and other printed material through dictation, copy typing or other instructions, in accordance with the requirements set by the practice group.
- Coordinate and disperse tasks to be performed by various resource groups
- Reviewing title searches and drafting requisitions
- Registration of documentation in Terrview
- Other general duties as required
