Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized college-level Legal Assistant/Law Clerk Program
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office 2013, Hummingbird DM (document management system) (preferred), Teraview, & Conveyancer
- Strong ability to work as part of a team, candidates are required to be excellent communicators with fundamental problem-solving and analytical skills, detail oriented and well organized, and have an exceptional commitment to internal/external client service.
- Fast-learner with the ability to foresee the next step
Key Responsibilities
- Organizes files and documents
- Communicates with clients to take instructions, obtain information, and report on status
- Prepares documents and letters regarding real estate matters/transactions
- Organizes/collects material for commercial and residential real estate deals and summarizes this information, as needed
- Preparation of monthly accounts
- Maintain a file list
- Preparing Reporting Letters and Reports
