Location: Burlington
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track file progression through data management systems
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the lawyer
- Draft litigation documents including: statements of claim, notices of examination, affidavits of documents, trial records, motion materials
- Prepare forms as required by the statutory accident benefits schedule
- Meet with clients to discuss file progression
- Coordinate intake meetings with prospective clients
- Request a wide variety of documents from various sources
Qualifications
- Legal assistant / Law Clerk program
- 3+ years of personal injury law experience, preferably in Tort and AB.
- Strong MS Office skills
- Experience with PrimaFact and PC law
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
- Ability to work from home, as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Effectively able to time manage
