Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

Salary: $55K+ (Commensurate with Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Document and calendar management
- Preparing correspondence and documents for court and tribunal proceedings
- Filing legal documents
- Docketing
- Accounting assistance
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant
- Experience with Court and/or tribunal filings
- General understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Strong technical proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to deal professionally with others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and at times work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Experience working with PCLaw and NetDocuments (or similar docketing/document management software) is considered an asset
