Litigation Law Clerk/Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ litigation experience, and experience working as a project manager at the law clerk level. Salary: Up to $130K (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of routine litigation proceedings
- Responsible for preparation of affidavits of documents, refusals, motions.
- Drafting and enforcing orders, including garnishments, and perfecting appeals.
- Conduct preliminary due diligence investigations through to judgment and enforcement.
- Support Civil and Commercial litigation cases at all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, including tribunals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of law clerk experience in the area of litigation. Experience with class action files is an asset
- Successful completion of a related post-secondary Law Clerk program.
- Project management experience at the law clerk level.
- eDiscovery experience is required.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and superior word processing, spelling, proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure to meet important deadlines.
- Ability to follow-up on files and delays with minimal supervision.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
