Location: Markham
Salary: Up to $73K
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage legal documents, correspondence, and contracts related to labour law and workplace investigations
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all records are up to date and confidential
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, arbitrations, and investigation interviews
- Liaise with clients, court staff, union representatives, and third parties with professionalism
- Conduct legal research on workplace legislation, employment standards, and human rights codes
- Track deadlines and manage calendars to support case progression and investigation timelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in labour law or workplace investigations
- Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
