Salary: Up to $50K
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with firm clients, other lawyers and court offices
- Photocopying and assembling court documents and other documentation
- Arranging appointments and maintaining lawyer’s calendar
- Scanning, filing, receiving and sending faxes and reception relief.
- Typing court documents
- Filing documents at Court
- Conduct routine correspondence and memos
Qualifications
- Legal Assistant with 1+ year(s) of recent working experience in litigation law
- Post-secondary education in business or related discipline. Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk Diploma is preferred
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Excellent typing skills (must be able to transcribe from digital dictation)
- Stellar organizational and communication skills.
