The role involves performing searches, managing purchases and files, drafting correspondences and other miscellaneous tasks.

Salary: $50K
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in various matters involving wills and estates, corporate and real estate transactions, including financing and purchase/sale of residential real estate.
- Preparing initial drafts of primary documents for wills, corporate and real estate transactions and finalizing ancillary/closing documents (using Unity for real estate transaction).
- Being responsible for closings and general file management using checklists and diary.
- Preparing reporting letters, and recording and docketing time in a timely manner.
- Other administrative duties as may be required by firm.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a Law Clerk
- Familiarity with Corporate, Real Estate and Wills is preferred
- Law Clerk or Legal Assistant certification is preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teraview/Unity is required)
- Working knowledge of procedures, statutes, rules and regulations applicable
- Strong decision making skills
- Team-player
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
