Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the firm
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, reporting on variances, and monitoring overall financial performance
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and issues, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Facilitate meetings, manage project documentation, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Analyze business needs, engage with technical leads to evaluate solution options, and help develop practical recommendations
- Ensure a high level of client service and responsiveness throughout project lifecycles
- Contribute to the continual improvement of project management practices within the IT PMO
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a professional services or legal environment
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across practice groups and departments and at all levels
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
- Experience managing project budgets, including expense tracking and financial reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to understand and summarize issues and solutions
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with a willingness to go the extra mile to meet project and stakeholder needs
- Approachable, helpful, and service-oriented personality
- Good judgement and decision making
