Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents and correspondence.
Prepare legal memoranda and summarize key documents and records.
Manage calendars, schedule court dates, and track important deadlines.
Conduct legal and factual searches as required.
Provide general file and administrative support to lawyers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Qualifications
Law Clerk Diploma or Certificate.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance defence or a related area of law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative team player who is self-motivated and proactive.
Familiarity with Primafact, ACL, Adobe, and Zoom is considered an asset.
