Salary: Based On Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of all HR services
- Day to day operation of the firm, including tracking sick days/vacation days
- Performance management
- Resolving employee relations issues
- Full cycle recruitment, recruitment and selection process
- Working with marketing to attract the best candidates
- Assisting with employee training and managing the firm’s compliance program
- Other duties as required
- Pro-actively manage succession planning and ongoing training and development of staff
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the HR Assistant
- Manage staff communication and feedback through such avenues as staff meetings and one-on-one meetings
- Provide necessary education and materials to managers and staff including the organization of workshops and in house training programs
- Participate in HR related projects as require
Qualifications
- 10 + years of HR experience in a legal environment
- CHRP/CHRL designation
- Graduated from a recognized HR program
- Knowledge of general principles of recruiting, staffing systems and tools
- Experience in managing applicant databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing solutions
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying close attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff and clientele
