Currently recruiting for a Director of Information Technology, this role requires a candidate that has management experience, a solid understanding of technology and systems and the ability to coordinate, plan and implement IT projects.

Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage and develop the members of the IT department
• Create and maintain high quality IT customer service
• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Design IT training programs and workshops for all members of the Firm
• Conduct regular system audits and ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience working in a technology support and or training environment
• 5-10 years of experience working around IT operations
• Experience leading and managing people in IT with evidence of strong people management skills
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems (such as, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and/or phone systems)
• Proven ability to manage teams
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices, law firm experience preferred
• Experience with audio visual systems including Teams and Zoom as well as experience in legal or professional services are preferred
