Salary: Over $65K with Perks
Primary Duties Include

Proactive diary management; scheduling of appointments and due dates, overseeing the schedule to ensure a balance of business and client related activities

Receive and handle incoming and outgoing communications as directed, including emails, phone calls, reports, and internal correspondence

Preparing necessary legal documents including complicated legal agreements, proposals, wills and reporting letters to firm standards

Preparing clients for meetings and virtual signings using a variety of virtual meeting tools

Work closely with the partner managing to facilitate client intake and file opening requests

Maintaining digital records in the firms document management system and using software to facilitate legal transactions (e-signature tools, data rooms)

Demonstrate effective teamwork and provide support to other team members as necessary

Ensure procedures are followed and improved as necessary, champion and embed best practice with the legal team for more efficient workflow
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Must have 4+ years of corporate law experience working in a law firm environment
- Legal Assistant Diploma plus additional courses an asset
- Superior organizational and multitasking abilities
- Stellar technical skills (including MS Office, PC Law)
- Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Ability to be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work well in a busy team environment and have a positive attitude
