Key Responsibilities
- Handling of condominium sale files on a day-to-day basis with minimal supervision
- Reviewing the various forms of agreements of purchase and sale and identifying different scenarios within a project
- Drafting escrow closing documentation (from precedents) to correspond with the various scenarios
- The reconciliation of file data for the entire condominium project
- Preparation of interim statement of adjustments
- Reporting to client and taking the project into the registration process and the final bulk closing
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience as a Real Estate Legal Assistant, preferably with condominium/subdivision specific background
- Expertise with LDD
- Strong technical skills using MS Word and MS Excel 2010
- Ability to handle high volume of files
- Organized and meticulous with attention to detail
- Ability to take the initiative, prioritize and multitask
- Client service oriented
- Flexible team player
- Flexible working schedule to ensure completion of all required tasks, as necessary
