Our client, a well-recognized litigation firm based in downtown Toronto, is looking for an experienced, personable, and self-driven commercial litigation law clerk to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate is required to work ‘in office’ and preferably received their first vaccine dose. The individual must demonstrate strong drafting, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills, top-notch writing, and proof-reading abilities, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: up to $70K
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support to our lawyers.
- Developing chronologies, budgets, costs outlines, affidavits, appeal materials and other court documents.
- Summarizing transcripts.
- Completing undertakings charts.
- Preparing and managing larger document briefs.
- Assisting in the management of the document discovery process within Eclipse including searching and organizing data.
Qualifications required:
- Possess 3+ years of experience.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Should be well-versed with e-discovery software.
- Exhibit advanced technology skills which include Word, Excel, PCLaw and Adobe Acrobat.
