Salary: Up to 60K + Benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Process and revise electronic documents, edit, and prepare blacklining.
- Docket entry, pre-bill, and account preparation using PC Law.
- Practice management, including appointment scheduling and arranging conference calls.
- Apply proofreading and editing skills to documents and correspondence.
- Digital and physical file management and keeping clerks/lawyers apprised of matters.
- Perform other duties as required to achieve firm objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Post-secondary education.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of law firm experience.
- Some knowledge of commercial leasing transactions or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with various legal documents including agreements, leases, letters, etc.
- Experience with MS Office, Workshare, PC Law.
- Sound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
