Cartel Inc. is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate to join a leading insurance litigation group in Toronto. This role involves managing all aspects of litigation, including advising clients, conducting examinations for discovery, mediations, and trial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle insurance coverage and litigation files from start to finish.
- Advise clients on specialty insurance lines, professional negligence claims, and liability matters.
- Represent clients in court, mediations, and pre-trials.
- Mentor junior lawyers and maintain strong client relationships.
- Engage in professional development and industry events.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario (member in good standing).
- 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage and civil litigation.
- Strong advocacy, legal writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in professional indemnity and trial work.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and team-oriented.
