Key Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents and correspondence.
- Prepare legal memoranda and summarize key documents and records.
- Manage calendars, schedule court dates, and track important deadlines.
- Conduct legal and factual searches as required.
- Provide general file and administrative support to lawyers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Qualifications
- Law Clerk Diploma or Certificate.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance defence or a related area of law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player who is self-motivated and proactive.
- Familiarity with Primafact, ACL, Adobe, and Zoom is considered an asset.
