Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing FSCO Documents
- Communicating with insurance companies (adjusters and counsel) to advocate for benefits for clients
- Daily communication with clients to provide updates on their claims and support their needs
- Ability to work with multiple lawyers on accident benefits claims
- Preparing and following-up with productions
- Drafting Accident Benefits settlement proposals and will say statements
- File management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in A/B in a legal setting
- Accident benefit and tort experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent technical skills (including MS Office)
