Law Clerk – Commercial Leasing (3000) Full Time

Salary: Up to $60K

Primary Duties Include

  • Preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including agreements, leases, closing documents, instruments for registration, etc.)
  • Act as the direct liaison with Property Managers, Accountants, Accounts Receivable, Leasing Coordinators, Recoveries, and Managers, etc.
  • Tracking Lease commencement and termination dates to ensure deadlines are met
  • Completing aspects of commercial leasing, purchases, sales and financings
  • Effectively collect and record data used to identify changes in Lease documentation
  • Review, analyze and process tenant billing and adjustment requests from Property Managers and tenant accounts receivable
  • Maintain and update databases with respect to the status of Leases, rental changes, options to renew, amendments, Lease extensions, etc.
  • Docket time
  • Other duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Leasing Law Clerk
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
