Salary: $95K++
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of routine litigation proceedings.
Prepare affidavits of documents, refusals, and motions.
Draft and enforce court orders, including garnishments, and perfect appeals.
Conduct preliminary due diligence investigations through to judgment and enforcement.
Support civil and commercial litigation matters at all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, including tribunals.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of law clerk experience in litigation.
Experience handling complex litigation files is required.
Completion of a recognized Law Clerk post-secondary program.
eDiscovery experience is an asset (e.g., Relativity).
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong word processing, spelling, proofreading, and editing skills.
Proven time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Self-starter with the ability to follow up independently on files and outstanding matters.
Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
