Key Responsibilities
Assist with securities filings, including continuous disclosure documents and SEDAR+ filings
Prepare and review documentation for public and private offerings, financings, and corporate transactions
Maintain and update corporate records, minute books, and share registers
Coordinate closing documentation and manage closing checklists
Liaise with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely filings and compliance
Conduct due diligence searches and assist with regulatory compliance matters
Monitor deadlines and ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time
Support lawyers with day-to-day securities and corporate governance matters
Qualifications
Law Clerk diploma or equivalent experience
Prior experience in securities or corporate law (experience with capital markets work is a strong asset)
Strong working knowledge of SEDAR+ and securities filing requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to take initiative
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
