Residential Real Estate Clerk

Our client, a well-known Toronto lawyer, is currently looking to hire a Real Estate Assistant for his downtown office.
This lawyer offers stability and the opportunity to learn.   This position would have you working alongside a wonderful lawyer and a busy practice.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years, residential real estate legal assitant experience specifically. 
As an assistant,  in the firm you will be expected to work at a very fast pace, respond to clients and keep the lawyer on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Ability to work with clients over the phone.
  • Open files in PC Law
  • Conduct title searches and lands searches via Teraview
  • Draft various documents in Teraview or Unity (Conveyancer)
  • Help draft and amend correspondence and closing documents
  • maintain to-do calendar and follow up
  • Prepare disbursement statement and draft bills
  • Close completed files, keep outstanding files organized and accessible
  • Handle administrative tasks.
