3 years, residential real estate legal assitant experience specifically.
As an assistant, in the firm you will be expected
to work at a very fast pace, respond to clients and keep the lawyer on schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Ability to work with clients over the phone.
- Open files in PC Law
title searches and lands searches via Teraview
various documents in Teraview or Unity (Conveyancer)
draft and amend correspondence and closing documents
- maintain to-do calendar and follow up
disbursement statement and draft bills
completed files, keep outstanding files organized and accessible
