  • Prepare for review pleadings, notices of motion, motion records, affidavits, settlement documentation and any other court forms for Superior Court and Small Claims Court
  • Preparation of default judgment materials for liquidated damages and motion materials for default judgement for unliquidated damages
  • Draft enforcement procedures including garnishments, writs of seizure and sale, writs of possession and judgment debtor examinations for Superior and Small Claims Court
  • Prepare Affidavits of Documents
  • Manage eDiscovery process including document collection, first-pass review and document production
  • Review and summarize transcripts and complete undertaking, under advisements and refusal charts and assist with collection of answers
  • Assist as needed with various tasks on Appeals and Arbitrations

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a Litigation Law Clerk
  • Post-Secondary graduate of a Law Clerk Program
  • Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Knowledge of the Construction Act 
  • Some understanding of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Actwould be an asset
  • Strong skills with Eclipse or other eDiscovery platforms
  • Strong technical skills using MS Office 2013
