Up to $60K

Primary Duties Include:

  • Supporting a team with the preparation of court documents, discovery and hearing preparation
  • Schedule mediations, discoveries, and request affidavit of documents 
  • Making travel reservations for lawyers and reimbursing travel expenses
  • Calendar management, filing, preparing and sending correspondence
  • Enter dockets entries and prepare client accounts
  • General practice management
  • Other administrative duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Legal Assistant diploma
  • Solid knowledge of and experience working with the Ontario Labour Relations Board and Ontario Human Rights Tribunal 
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, punctual, strong work ethic
  • Professional and personable demeanor
