Law Clerk – Commercial Lending (3365) Full Time

Primary Duties Include

  • Must be experienced in handling payments and loan statements, reports, handle payments, as well as insurance policies
  • Ability to review of corporate searches, title and off title searches
  • Confidently able to assume full carriage of a commercial lending file
  • Preparation of commercial loan documents, registration of documents & preparation of reporting letters
  • Assisting with the preparation of occupancy closings, final closings and preparation of financial reports to clients
  • Handling commercial loan transactions, sub-division projects
  • Preparing responses to letters of requisition
  • Able to draft necessary closing documents, including status reports, final reports, etc. 
  • Other duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications                                    

  • Minimum 4 years of Commercial Lending/Real Estate experience in a law firm
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Word, Outlook, PC LAW, and Teraview
  • Must have an efficient, organized and positive work ethic
  • Possess excellent oral & written skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Be able to work independently or within a group setting
