Up to $58K

Primary Duties Include

  • Preparing necessary legal documents, billing and expenses
  • Schedule Management
  • Maintenance of extensive filing system and databases
  • Coordinating Minute Book retrieval
  • Maintain the master corporate file spreadsheet
  • Work with all forms of legal documents
  • Docket editing and processing accounts
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
  • Perform corporate and due diligence searches online as requested
  • Other duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Corporate Law
  • Legal Assistant diploma, plus additional courses an asset
  • Must have experience with DMS software
  • Excellent document formatting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, strong initiative and ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
