E-Billing Clerk (1-year contract) (3241) Full Time Contract

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm located in the heart of Toronto’s business district is in search of an e-billing clerk to work in their accounting department under a 1-year contract. The firm requires a talented individual to produce accurate billing reports as well as work closely with the lawyers and legal assistants regarding billing matters. Up to $48K

Primary Duties Include

  • Manage various stages of the billing processes while maintaining relationships with multiple third party e-billing software systems
  • Appealing E-billing protocols; dealing with monthly rejections of all e-bills
  • Liaising with lawyers regarding any budgeting requirements
  • Responds to billing inquiries and billing transactions
  • Ensure compliance with client guidelines and protocols, firm approval procedures
  • Review and process bills to ensure all bills are recorded accurately and timely
  • Perform other duties as required to achieve firm objectives
  • Other duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of E-billing experience within a law firm
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with MS Office 2013, Acumin
  • Experience working independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to set priorities and produce quality work under tight timelines
  • Solve complex problems efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to build relationships with all levels of staff and clients
