Paralegal – Employment & Labour (3239) Full Time

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of Employment & Labour experience in a paralegal capacity, strong analytical skills, able to multitask and be an exceptional communicator. To be considered, apply today.

Up to $60K  

Primary Duties Include

  • Preparing, filing compiling, and serving court documents in line with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Dicta transcription, drafting and revising correspondence
  • Preparation of reports, docket entries, accounts and other administrative duties
  • Maintaining lawyers’ practice and bring forward system
  • Coordinating client meetings, conference calls and travel arrangements along with managing and coordinating lawyers’ schedules
  • Other duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Employment & Labour experience
  • Must be licensed by the LSUC
  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong grammar and spelling skills
  • Stellar technical skills (including MS Office, DMS and Adherent accounting software)
  • Ability to work well independently under minimal supervision as well as in a team setting
  • Must be extremely flexible to meet the daily needs of the practice
  • Excellent technical abilities
