Salary: $65K-$70K

Primary Duties Include

  • Supervising and motivating all staff including direct responsibility for performance management, development and training
  • Managing the intake process for all document production and document support requests including assessing, prioritizing and coordinating work for completion and ensuring timely word processing services, etc.
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of completed work meets the standards expected by the Document Service Group clients
  • Acting and working as a member and liaison between DSG and its clients
  • Monitoring and managing performance of direct reports
  • Assessing the skill level of staff and, where necessary, identifying training required
  • Creating training material/documentation for staff
  • Developing style sheets, designing macros and templates, and mastering new presentation/word processing software, as needed
    Working with other DSG Supervisors and Manager to ensure information is shared from one shift to another
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Supervisory or Management experience
  • Experience in a professional services firm or document services department an asset
  • Highly developed problem solving, decision making, conflict management, etc.
  • Works well under pressure and adjusts to changing needs of the Firm
  • Proven ability to multitask while demonstrating composure and the ability to handle stress and tight timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manners
  • Superb transcription, spelling, proof-reading and editing skills; well organized, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to transfer knowledge in an efficient, pleasant and effective way
  • Capability to adapt to different work schedules (week, weekends and statutory holidays where applicable)
