Law Clerk – Corporate/Commercial (3253) Full Time

This position will require at least 5 years’ experience in corporate transactions and commercial lending. $65K - $70K 

Primary Duties Include

  • Preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including agreements, leases, closing documents, instruments for registration, etc.)
  • Handling commercial loan transactions, sub-division projects as well as preparing responses to letters of requisition
  • Completing aspects of commercial purchases, sales and financing
  • Organization/coordination of files/closing
  • Updating minute books
  • Reviewing title searches and drafting requisitions
  • Other duties as required
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications                                   

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Corporate/commercial experience
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
