Law Clerk - Corporate (3070) Full Time

Our client is a highly respected and established law firm located in the downtown core. This large law firm has an opening for an Intermediate Corporate Law Clerk. Candidates must come with at least 5+ years of corporate experience. Excellent benefits, stability and a congenial work environment. This firm is actively interviewing. Primary Duties Include

  • Complete various tax and corporate forms along with general correspondence under the Canada Business Corporations Act and the Ontario Business Corporations Act
  • Prepare documents and record books to organize corporations
  • Assist with Business Number and Program Accounts registrations with CRA and provincial tax registrations
  • Extract information and file notices using Cyberbahn
  • Minute book and general filing
  • Assist with department precedents
  • Enter dockets on a daily basis
  • Other duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Corporate law experience
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Familiarity with minute books and corporate terms
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of a corporate database
  • Experience with Corplink would be an asset
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
