Salary: $70K+

Primary Duties Include

  • Prepare and draft correspondence and legal documents (including agreements, leases, closing documents, instruments for registration, etc.)
  • Handling commercial loan transactions, sub-division projects as well as preparing responses to letters of requisition
  • Prepare electronic registration documentation
  • Conduct and review title searches and municipal inquiries and other off-title investigations
  • Communicate with title insurers and review on draft policies
  • Complete aspects of commercial purchases, sales and financings
  • Register documentation in Tera view
  • Other general duties as required

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lending documents
  • Experience in drafting of ancillary leasing documentation, such as non-disturbance agreements and notices of lease
  • Strong technical skills with Tera view, Conveyancer
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines, multiple projects and a high volume of paperwork
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
