The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience working in a law firm environment, have a bright personality, exceptional organizational skills and high professionalism. Primary Duties Include

  • Organize and maintain client files
  • Set up files or indexing as required using tools such as Microsoft Office
  • Answering phones for Department and directing calls appropriately
  • Calendar management, scheduling meetings and book boardrooms
  • Sorting and or Filing confidential client matters/documents/filings
  • Coordinate and monitor administrative functions to ensure completion of work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Act as liaison between clients and clerks/lawyers
  • Other administrative duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within a law firm
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff and clientele
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Solid typing skills
