Legal Assistant – Corporate (Bilingual) (3190) Full Time

Job Description

It's time to add some challenge to your career! Our client has made a name for themselves in a very niche industry. Currently in need of an English/French Corporate assistant with at least 3 years of experience.

Up to $58K

Primary Duties Include

  • Organize and maintain client files
  • Draft, transcribe and type legal documents
  • Organize and expedite flow of work
  • Draft and respond to correspondence
  • Initiate follow-up as required and communicate with clients
  • Calendar management, scheduling meetings and book boardrooms
  • Prepare and coordinate client billings
  • Perform administrative duties including accounting, opening and closing files, docketing, cheque requisitions, etc.
  • Perform administrative and general office and other duties as assigned
  • Other administrative duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Corporate Law
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French
  • MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced MS Word 2010
  • Detail oriented with good proofreading, multi-tasking skills, strong
  • organizational and time management skills
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work well independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision
