HR Coordinator (2880) Full Time

Our client is a specialized Insurance Defence law firm looking for an HR coordinator to join their award-winning boutique in downtown Toronto. This individual must have previous HR and legal experience and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. If you believe you have what it takes, apply now!

Salary: $40 - $45K

Primary Duties Include

  • Responsible for the delivery of all HR services
  • Day to day operation of the firm, including tracking sick days/vacation days
  • Payroll and benefits administration
  • Performance management
  • Resolving employee relations issues
  • Full cycle recruitment, recruitment and selection process
  • Working with marketing to attract the best candidates
  • Assisting with employee training and managing the firm’s compliance program

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ of legal experience
  • Graduated from a recognized HR program
  • Knowledge of general principles of recruiting, staffing systems and tools
  • Experience in managing applicant databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing solutions
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact with all levels of staff and clientele
