Lawyer Manager, Legal Conduct - Investigations & Resolutions (3285) Full Time
The Ontario College of Pharmacists is the registering and regulating body for the
profession of pharmacy practice in Ontario. The College is currently recruiting to fill
the newly created position of Manager, Legal Conduct.
As the Manager you will be responsible for carrying out various regulatory functions
and duties of the College in accordance with the governing legislation. You must be
prepared to handle a spectrum contentious matters as well as conducting advocacy.
You will provide leadership, training and guidance on the legal implications of activities
within the Investigations and Resolutions department. You will build and manage a
legal team of in-house and external counsel to provide legal support and professional
advice on intakes, investigations, hearings and other related matters.
You have 10+ years’ experience in a legal or investigative setting coupled with 5+ years
of Management experience. You will ideally have a background and working knowledge
of the Regulated Health Professionals Act. Experience in administrative law and
professional discipline would also be an asset.
