Salary: $50K+

Primary Duties Include

  • Prepare, draft, revise and edit correspondence and legal documents such as incorporations, amendments, amalgamations and corporate reorganizations
  • Share and asset sale/purchase transactions
  • Assess and re-establish priorities based on deadlines
  • Organize and request productions and documentation from clients
  • Maintain daily contact with clients
  • Manage minute books and prepare annual minutes
  • Other duties as required  

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Commercial Law
  • Law Clerk Diploma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, strong initiative
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
