Salary: Up to $62K 

Primary Duties Include

  • Preparing necessary legal documents, resolutions and closing transactions, billing and expenses
  • Schedule Management 
  • Maintenance of extensive filing system and databases 
  • Coordinating Minute Book retrieval 
  • Maintain the master corporate file spreadsheet
  • Work with all forms of legal documents 
  • Docket editing and processing accounts 
  • Monitor corporate stationery and order as required 
  • Perform corporate and due diligence searches online as requested
  • Various other administrative tasks
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Law Clerk Diploma
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Law
  • Corporate Transactional experience an asset
  • Superior communication skills, outstanding organization and multi-tasking abilities 
  • Excellent technical skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and WordDox, Foxit PDF and PC Law; Sedar, Sedi and Visio experience an asset 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external clients 
  • Familiar with Internet applications as well as digital dictation software 
  • Ability to be organized, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines and exhibit sound judgment 
  • Able to work well under pressure, be flexible and adapt when necessary
