Salary: Up to $35K 

Primary Duties Include

  • Deal with clients via telephone and facsimile with their requests for various corporate, insolvency and Bank Act searches
  • Work with NUANS, PPSA, Bankruptcy, ONBIS, Industry Canada and Bank Act
  • Provide reports and invoices to clients
  • Provide customer service to clients and answered any questions regarding their search results
  • Enter data into Corporate Database using CorpLink Software
  • Maintaining data for tracking and reporting
  • Drafting correspondence
  • Other general duties as required
  Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • 1+ year of corporate search clerk experience, ideally within a law firm
  • Law Clerk Diploma
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Fundamental problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to remain calm in pressured situations
  • Excellent technical skills (including MS Office 2007/2010)
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team setting
